VERTICAL RACES

The yearly unique competition, during which participants run up the highest tower of Vyborg Castle. The only one gothic tower, that remained on the territory of Russian Federation. Height - 48.6 metres - 267 steps of a spiral lifting. These are unforgettable adrenaline feelings. These are pleasant impressions after the conquest. It is one of the memorable days of your summer. So, in 2001 competitions will be held for the 4 th time. All participants will be rewarded with memorial exclusive medals, handmade in the ceramic studio of Alexey Butorin.

The record of conquest of the most steep gothic tower of Russia belongs to:

women - the champion of Russia Natalia Belova - 61 second,
men - the citizen of Vyborg Evgeny Petrov - 51 second.

All those who desire ( without limitations) and who have signed a special agreement with the organization committee are admitted to competitions " Vertical races". Prize- fund - domestic appliances ( vacuum cleaners, audio- and video players, TV-sets) are granted by sponsors.

"Vertical races" will take place on July 20, 2001.
